Kforce Desktop Technician in Ridgecrest, California

Kforce is in search of Desktop Technicians near Ridgecrest, California (CA) to assist their client on a quick weekend office migration project. This quick project will take place on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, starting on 02/10/18. The project consists of 3 stages as follows: Saturday

  • Inventory new assets and record/report Inventory

  • Unbox new assets

  • Disconnect legacy assets at each user's desk/cubicle

  • Connect new assets at each user's desk/cubicle

  • Reconnect all cables and dress them properly

  • Remove legacy asset from user's desk/cubicle and store them per each location's requirements

  • Report and document each asset's deployments


  • Assist each user with their asset authentication and provide end-user support as needed

  • Report and document each User's authentication and issues


  • Provide day one support to End User's as needed/requested

  • Escalate all Urgent User's Issues in accordance with the client's escalation requirements

  • Report and document each User's issues

Working on this project will put the technician on the virtual bench for all upcoming projects and contracts.

  • Must have experience supporting PCs and peripherals in a live business environment, or have equivalent education or experience

  • Certifications are not required, but are considered a huge plus
