Engineering Tech I - Performs simple routine tasks under close supervision or from detailed procedures. Work is monitored and closely checked in progress or upon completion. This person performs such typical duties as: Assembling or installing equipment or parts requiring simple wiring, soldering, fabrication, cutting, disassembly, or dismantling. May be required to operate common hand tools and specialized equipment in the daily performance of assigned duties to include; forklift, man-lift, bobcat, grader, water truck, and various other earth moving equipment. May be assigned to support various task orders in the daily upkeep and maintenance of Range infrastructure, targets, grounds maintenance, reclamation, cleanup and safety as directed. Work to be performed outdoors in various environmental conditions. May assist in the management and handling of Hazardous Materials involving receiving, storing and transporting a wide variety of bin and bulk commodities, using mechanized, and manual material movement equipment, devices and systems. Work requires general knowledge of the methods used in processing, handling, and storing hazardous materials/waste. Candidate must possess the ability to organize, arrange and remove hazardous material/wastes in accordance with established procedures. Candidate will be tasked with the orderly collection, storage and distribution of hazardous material/waste in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.

Must possess a valid Driver's License.

High School Diploma required.
